My Interview Journey with Silicon Labs for the RF & Mixed Signal Product Test Engineer Role.
In May 2025, I had the opportunity to interview with Silicon Labs, a company that fascinates many engineers in the wireless and mixed-signal world.
Even though Silicon Labs’ annual revenue is less than a billion dollars, it consistently competes with much larger companies in the RF and mixed-signal domains. Their interview process is known to be extremely thorough and deeply technical—some engineers say it’s even tougher than interviews at certain Tier-1 semiconductor companies.
Located near Downtown Austin, Texas, the company focuses heavily on IoT edge devices, wireless transceivers, and low-power mixed-signal systems.
