Skyworks Solutions, Inc. has just appointed Philip Carter, CPA, MBA, CFA, as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective September 8, 2025. This is more than just a new hire—it’s a homecoming.
Philip spent seven years at Skyworks (2017–2024) as VP, Corporate Controller & Principal Accounting Officer before taking on a high-profile role at AMD as Corporate VP & Chief Accounting Officer in 2024. And now… he’s back, this time to lead the company’s entire global finance and IT organizations.
👉 In his new role, Philip will drive financial strategy, steer investor relations, oversee treasury, and push innovation at the intersection of finance and technology. He takes over from Robert Schriesheim, who stepped in as interim CFO earlier this year.
